Veterinary Technician

Amy

In 2008, Amy graduated from Seneca Polytechnic’s Veterinary Technician program with honours. She then embarked on her career in fast-paced clinics ever since.

From a very young age it has always been Amy’s passion and natural calling to have a career in the veterinary world. To advocate and be the voice for our furry companions to ensure they live out their years as healthy and happy as possible. From volunteering at the Toronto Humane Society, to working as a veterinary assistant/receptionist, Amy also took on a dual role as Practice Manager / Technician for 7 years. She has also mentored and cross trained many students and fellow staff members in every aspect of clinic duties over the years. Ensuring she is providing gold standard of care to both clients and their fur babies will forever be rewarding for Amy. Amy excels in every aspect of clinic life, but truly enjoys anesthesiology/surgery, emergency/critical care and radiology. Over the years she has adopted many fur babies, some with special needs, into her life. Her current clan consists of her loving boyfriend and their 3 kitty cats (Prince, Autumn, Fritz). In her free time Amy enjoys spending time with family & friends (furries included), cuddling up with a good book, photography, hiking, kayaking and billiards.
