Dr. Alana graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007 and began her career in a fast-paced 24-hour emergency hospital in Ottawa, where she gained extensive experience treating everything from broken bones and wounds to toxicities and urgent medical cases. After relocating to Toronto, she continued to expand her expertise across several veterinary clinics before joining the EVF team part-time in 2022.

Alana has a special interest in senior pet care, behavior, and nutrition. She is passionate about empowering pet owners with the knowledge and confidence to provide the best possible care for their furry family members.

At home, Alana shares her life with her husband, their three children, a rescue Doberman, and a senior cat. Her compassionate approach and dedication to lifelong learning make her a valued member of our veterinary team.
