I had never worked in a veterinary clinic before coming to join the EVF my background was in Payroll at a Transportation company. In Scotland I worked for the Telecom company on switchboard and then in the Engineering department. I have loved all types of animals all of my life and decided I wanted to change what I did for work and look for a position in an animal care environment.

My goal each day is to ensure each patient has the most positive experience when they come into the clinic.

I welcome and assist clients schedule appointments for their fur babies, taking as much detail of what their appointment is for so that the doctors and technicians have all information prior to their visit.  To ensure the doctors and technicians appointments are running smoothly by checking clients in and out as efficiently as possible.  Working as a team to help provide the best care for the patients. 

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and came to Canada in 1988.  I have one sister who lives in Toronto and 2 brothers who live in Glasgow.

I love to travel to various places.  I went to Africa on Safari/Gorilla trekking which was amazing, and I was grateful we didn't need to trek too far to find the Gorillas, it was a very surreal and humbling experience.  At some point I would like to volunteer in Borneo with Orangutans.
