Veterinary Assistant
Harry
Harry’s journey into veterinary care was a natural one. Growing up in rural Ontario, he spent much of his time observing nature and developing a deep connection with animals. It was only fitting that his path would eventually lead him to a career where he could work with them every day.
At Eglinton Veterinary Facilities, Harry plays a dual role—assisting veterinarians and technicians in surgery when needed, and serving as the clinic’s maintenance manager. His dedication ensures both the medical and operational sides of the clinic run smoothly.
Outside of work, Harry is a talented musician. He was a member of the Lorne Scots regimental pipe band for 20 years and continues to play the bagpipes and tin whistle. He also enjoys biking and hiking during the warmer months, staying active and healthy so he can continue doing the work he loves for as long as possible.
Harry lives by the quote:"If possible, you should help others. If that is not possible, at least you should do no harm." – The Dalai Lama
