Veterinary Assistant

The work chose me. I grew up in rural Ontario and spent a lot of time observing nature. It was in the cards that I would end up working with animals.
I am involved in many aspects of daily clinic life. When required I assist the Vets & Technicians in surgery. I am also the maintenance manager overseeing the general support and repairs at the clinic.
I was a member of the Lorne Scotts regimental pipe band for 20 years. I still continue to play the Bagpipes and the Tin Whistle. In the summer and fall I do a lot of biking and hiking. I want to stay fit and healthy and work as long as possible.
