Katie’s passion for working with animals began at a young age, inspired by the love and care her own dog, Cody, needed. That early experience sparked a lifelong commitment to helping animals feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

A graduate of Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program, Katie passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination in August 2024 and officially became an RVT. She now holds certification as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) and works in both a general practice clinic and a rehabilitation clinic.

At Eglinton Veterinary Facilities, Katie brings her skills and compassion to every patient she meets—assisting in surgery, supporting everyday appointments, and educating pet owners on proper care. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, patient, and loving care that helps animals feel strong, healthy, and happy.

Katie shares her home with her beloved schnoodle, Cody, and two cheerful budgies, 22 and Sky. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and playing guitar. Her achievements include becoming certified in Acute Self-Care for Veterinary Professionals, earning her CCRP designation, and finding a career she loves wholeheartedly.
