Katy has always loved animals and knew she wanted to involve them in her everyday life. Joining Eglinton Veterinary Facilities gave her the opportunity to do just that—spending her days meeting amazing animals and helping them feel safe and cared for.

Before entering the veterinary field, Katy worked in a hospital setting and is well-versed in supporting people in clinical environments. Though new to veterinary care, she’s quickly learning and finds animals to be the most fascinating patients. At reception, Katy greets every pet with warmth and compassion, helping clients get the care they need and ensuring each visit runs smoothly.

Her goal is to make every patient feel welcomed and reassured from the moment they walk into the clinic, confident that they’ll be treated like one of our own.

Originally from Ireland, Katy moved to Canada alone for an adventure and is proud to now call it home. She’s lived in Japan, South Korea, and France, and loves exploring new cultures. Though she misses her furry friend Mabel back in Ireland, being surrounded by animals at the clinic brings her comfort and joy.
