Growing up in the Philippines, Margrette was surrounded by stray animals and quickly recognized that many of them lacked someone to advocate for their health. This experience sparked a deep passion for animal welfare and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary care.

After high school, Margrette earned her Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Seneca Polytechnic. Since joining the clinic, she has been dedicated to supporting the doctors and providing compassionate care to every patient.

Her goal is to deliver gold-standard care while making each visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible for the animals. She takes pride in being a calming presence and ensuring that every patient feels safe and cared for.

At home, Margrette lives with her parents and her beloved German Shepherd/lab mix, Shiro. She previously cared for a cat and six budgies, reflecting a lifelong love for animals.

Outside of work, Margrette is passionate about visual arts, especially still life and anatomy, and finds peace in playing the bass guitar. Her favorite quote is:"The axe forgets, but the tree remembers." – a reminder to always choose kindness.
