I chose to work at a veterinary clinic because I have always wanted to work with animals and their families. I enjoy every minute of working at a veterinary hospital.

As a veterinary receptionist, I am part of a care team that is at the frontline. I am one of the faces that the client and patient sees as soon as they walk in the door. This is a very important position, as you have to be very attentive to the different situations that you can encounter. It’s a position that requires a lot of multitasking and you have to find the balance in order to run the clinic in a smooth manner.

I strive to get to know our clients as individuals both on the phone and in person. I make sure that I always greet every client with a smile on my face and I also make the patient feel comfortable too. I really make it my top priority that both the client and pet are getting the best care possible.

My family includes my wonderful boyfriend Jeremy and my two children Mayah and Jacob. And our cat fur babies Louie and Lucy Bean.

My greatest achievements are my kids, and I am a proud mother. One of my favourite personal interests would have to be cooking, I am a real foodie, trying new restaurants is a great night out for me.
